Flying is fun and adventuresome. We at Franklin County airport have

created a Flying Club in an effort to help anyone interested in aviation have an economical way to fly. At most airports, flying has become more expensive and we at Franklin County airport are doing our best to keep it low. Insurance and maintenance is our highest expense and if we share the cost of ownership with several others, we can make flying more affordable. Flying is truly an adventure that we must keep alive, so we encourage our friends to fly often, stay current and share the experience with others. To be given access to the Franklin County Flying Club plane, a member must pay $150 for 3 months access. This money is used to help pay all the insurance and hanger cost.

A $25 per hour maintenance fee is charged to the person who uses the airplane. You also pay for the fuel used at the end of each flight.

If you would like to become an active member of the Flying Club, Please contact Bob Desmarais at (802) 324-0326 or at the airport front desk.

This Flying Club is NOT supported by or directly associated with either the Experimental Aircraft Association or Vermont Chapter 613. Bob, the Flying Club’s operator, is a member and friend of Vermont Chapter 613.

Thanks for the consideration…Bob Desmarais
